Method

Simply follow our simply laid out recipe:

1) Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4.
2) Mix the raisins with the apples and lay in the bottom of a large greased serving dish.
3) Beat the butter and sugar together in a bowl for approximately 10 minutes until the pale and fluffy.
4) Beat in the eggs, then carefully fold in the flour with a large spoon.
5) Spread the batter over the apples, then bake for 45 mins until golden.
6) Dust with icing sugar and serve with custard or whipped cream.
