1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed nutritional information

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, to taste nutritional information

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard nutritional information
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
75ml brandy or cognac nutritional information

250ml double cream nutritional information
250ml double cream
Small handful of flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped nutritional information
Small handful of flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped

Method

Simply follow our simply laid out recipe:

1) Heat the olive oil in a pan, add the shallots and allow to soften briefly.
2) Add the mushrooms with a tablespoon of butter.
3) Add the garlic, Worcestershire sauce and mustard, heat through for a minute.
4) Turn up the heat and tilt the pan away from you. Pour the brandy into the far end and allow it to light.
5) Once the alcohol has burnt off, swirl the juices around the pan.
6) Add the cream and allow the sauce to thicken before turning down the heat. 
7) Serve with a veggie burger (see links below for recipes) for a delicious veggie treat or steak for a traditional steak Diane. 
8) Sprinkle the parsley on top before serving.
