What are the health benefits of Broccoli?

Great for your heart, blood, brain, immune system, eyesight and cells, due to the high amounts of vitamin C, vitamin K1 and phytochemicals. 

Broccoli is also credited with a good amount of lipoic acid which may reduce the effects of ageing (see link below). 

Broccoli also has a chemical called sulforaphane which may have anticancer properties - (see link below)

To maximise the health benefits of broccoli always eat with some fat and steam or stir fry
