Health benefits of Broccoli - purple sprouting:

Great for your heart, blood, brain, immune system, eyesight and cells, due to the high amounts of vitamin C, vitamin K1 and phytochemicals.

Broccoli is also credited with a good amount of lipoic acid which reduces the effects of ageing (see link below).

Broccoli also has a chemical called sulforaphane which has anticancer properties - (see link below)
