What are the health benefits of Chia seeds - dried?

These are good for for the less powerful form of Omega 3 (ALA) which when converted by us to the more powerful form may significantly reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia

The type of omega 3 in chia seeds is 'ALA' which we convert to the more powerful form that our body uses, this conversion can be quite inefficient making the omega 3 from fish a much more potent source.
