100g plain chocolate
100g unsalted butter nutritional information

Method

Simply follow our simply laid out recipe:

1) Preheat oven to 180°C, Gas 4.
2) Whisk eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3) Put chocolate and butter into a bowl and put over a simmering pan of hot water. Heat until melted.
4) Stir into the egg mixture, then add flour and baking powder and mix well.
5) Spread into a greased 18x27cm cake tin.
6) Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a crust has formed.
7) Allow to cool slightly then remove from the tin and cut into squares.
8) Decorate with nuts, optional.
