What are the health benefits of Gluten free marble cake?

 Look after your cells and blood with this lovely marble cake. This is a gluten free version of the Italian ciambella bicolore con farina integrale cake.

20g cocoa powder nutritional information

Method

Simply follow our simply laid out recipe:

1) Pre heat the oven to preheated to 180°C, 160°C for a fan oven.
2) In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the vanilla essence and sugar until light and fluffy.
3) Add the oil and whisk in.
4) Add the flour sifted together with the baking powder, in several stages, alternating with the milk.
5) Add the pinch of salt and stir.
6) Divide the mixture into two bowls.
7) In a bowl add the sifted bitter cocoa and mix well.
8) Grease and flour a 22-24 cm diameter cake tin or donut mould.
9) Using a spoon alternate the adding the two doughs to the cake pan. this will give you the marble effect.
10) Bake in the oven and for 40 - 50 minutes until a skewer comes out clean.
11) Let it cool completely before serving.
