What are the health benefits of Porridge and oat bran with nuts?

Using a mix of oat bran and porridge oats gives this breakfast a great oaty texture while adding the extra goodness of the bran.
According to the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center oats are technically gluten-free since they aren't a type of wheat, barley or rye grain, the three groups of whole grains that naturally contain the protein gluten. Instead of containing gluten, oats actually have a protein called avenins.

20g almonds crushed
20g Brazil nuts crushed
150ml goats milk
10ml/1 dessert spoon honey
10g oat bran
10g porridge oats
1) Put the oat bran and porridge oats into a saucepan with the milk. 2) Bring to the boil and then turn down to a simmer and cook for 3 - 4 minutes until thickened. 3) Serve immediately with the honey and nuts stirred in.
* Add more milk depending on the consistency required.
