150ml whole milk nutritional information

400ml double cream nutritional information
400ml double cream
60g caster sugar nutritional information
60g caster sugar
A few dashes of vanilla extract to taste nutritional information
A few dashes of vanilla extract to taste
2½ gelatine leaves, soaked in cold water nutritional information

Method

Simply follow our simply laid out recipe:

1) Put the cream, milk and sugar into a saucepan.
2) Add a few drops of vanilla extract and taste to see if you need more.
3) Bring to a simmer, then remove from the heat.
4) Drain the gelatine, add to the saucepan and whisk until completely dissolved.
5) Pour into 4 ramekins or serving glasses (we used yogurt jars) and allow to set for 4 hours or overnight.
6) When ready to serve top with fruit compote or caramel.
