Method

1) Cut the cheddar into thick slices so that it will cover one slice of bread.
2) Butter the bread with spreadable butter (preferably Yeo Valley organic spreadable).
3) Make a sandwich with the buttered bread and cheese.
4) Serve with the crisps.
