Method

Simply follow our simply laid out recipe:

1) Slice the abalone into 5mm slices and pound with a meat tenderiser until pliable.
2) Put the flour and seasoning into a plastic bag. Add the abalone slices and shake well to coat.
3) Melt the butter and oil in a large frying pan over a medium high heat and fry the abalone slices in a single layer for 5-6 minutes until golden brown, turning once.
4) Serve hot with wedges of lemon.
