6 tbsp maple syrup nutritional information
6 tbsp maple syrup
5fl oz/¼ pint milk nutritional information
5fl oz/¼ pint milk
100g tinned pineapple rings, drained nutritional information
100g tinned pineapple rings, drained
100g self raising flour nutritional information

Method

Simply follow our simply laid out recipe:

1) Preheat the oven to 200C Gas 6.
2) Place the pineapple slices in a greased cake tin.
3) Cream the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
4) Add the eggs and beat well. Add the flour and fold in. Add the maple syrup and stir through.
5) Pour the cake mixture over the pineapple slices.
6) Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the sponge is golden and springy to the touch.
7) Remove from the oven and turn out so that the pineapples are on the top. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
