500g cod fillet, cut into 4 portions nutritional information

1 medium red pepper, washed, cored and thinly sliced nutritional information

1 medium onion, peeled and finely sliced nutritional information

2 cloes garlic, peeled and finely sliced nutritional information

1 tbsp olive oil nutritional information

100ml white wine nutritional information
100ml white wine
100ml double cream nutritional information

A few splashes of soy sauce nutritional information
A few splashes of soy sauce
1tsp ground ginger nutritional information
1tsp ground ginger

Method

Simply follow our simply laid out recipe:

1) Add the olive oil to a large lidded frying pan (lid off), over a medium heat and sauté the onions, peppers and garlic for a few minutes to soften.
2) Add the ground ginger and soy sauce and stir in.
3) Add the wine and stir then add the fish in one layer.
4) Turn the heat down low, put the lid on and allow to cook for 5 – 10 minutes, until the fish is cooked. This will depend on the thickness of the cod.
5) Remove the cod to a plate and keep warm
6) Turn the heat up, add the cream, prawns and salt to taste, and allow all to heat through.
7) If the sauce seems a bit too thin then turn the heat up more and reduce for a couple of minutes.
8) Serve with rice.
