Halibut fillet


What are the health benefits of Halibut fillet?

Halibut may reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke and dementia.

It is a lean fish with mild, sweet tasting white flesh, large flakes and a firm but tender texture. 

Halibut is endangered in the Atlantic so go for Pacific halibut.

Cooking tips

Because of its leanness halibut can become dry if overcooked. It is often used for sushi.

Be careful with frozen halibut as it is denser and less moist than fresh and so is easier to overcook.
