200g/1 large onion peeled and finely chopped nutritional information

Method

Simply follow our simply laid out recipe:

1) Heat the oil in a saucepan over a medium heat and fry the onions for 10 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
2) Turn the heat up a little and add the beef, browning on all sides in batches.
3) Put all of the beef back into the pan with the onions and the curry paste and cook stirring for a few minutes to coat everything well. If it sticks add a little water.
4) Add the tomatoes and stir well, adding a little water if needed to cover the meat.
5) Cover and cook over a low heat for 1-1½ hours until the meat is tender, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
